Thrills of the Scary
Celebrate the dark and wide eyed themes of the Grimm Brothers fairy tales in the lead up to Halloween this October with Art Hoppers.
Families are invited to make creative interpretations of Grimm’s classic tales: ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and ‘Hansel & Gretel’ in two, large scale paper based murals celebrating Library Week 2017. The completed murals will be folded into giant concertina books for public display in Hackney libraries. These collective, community artworks will be made from participants drawings using various papers, stickers and collage. Expect drawing, cutting, scrunching, arranging and sticking.
Will the fictional characters survive the perils of the eerie wood?
Share in the thrill of the scary as the days grow shorter and bring the stories to life with your own creepy graphics!
Suitable for ages 6+
