FLOWER POWER!

The Big Draw Festival is back! And this time we’re inviting you for a session of family flowery fun.

It’s our first public event since the beginning of lockdown – OFFICIAL! – and we can’t wait to share our passion for creativity with you (at a social distance of course). We’re working in partnership with our friends Rich Mix and Herbal Blessings to bring you a creative celebration of all things blossom and bloom.

You’ll be decorating plant pots and sowing seeds to take home … Learn how to make seasonal marigolds crafted from tissue paper, crepe paper and recycled plastic bags with our very own Claire WT – Bunch them into a beautiful posy or a decorative garland then have a go at some observational drawing.

Herbal Blessings invite you to make flower bath bombs and oils to take home and enjoy. You’ll also be offered a delicious light lunch by TATI, perhaps even trying an edible flower!

Flower Power is part of a phased reopening of the building at Rich Mix. Great care has been taken to your safety at the event – What better way to welcome us all back than with a Big Draw workshop dedicated to the flower – a universal symbol of healing, peace and positivity.

The Big Green Draw Festival #ClimateOfChange focuses on the relationship between people and our living environments and ecosystems; highlighting how we live today and the ways in which we do and do not harmonise with nature.

Find out about how Rich Mix are keeping you safe in the building.

"I really liked the technique that we used & if we look at it without seeing the process, it looks like it would take a really long time because it looks so good but it was really straightforward and looks really cool at the end." Sofia, pupil, 4L https://t.co/CM02cPMLxm https://t.co/YJyqX1I2ni
